EMDR

Are you stressed and irritable?
Overwhelmed with worry and fear about your life?
Have you tried to solve these issues with traditional talk therapy but not been successful?

Often people want to try EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) because they have found that more traditional therapies haven’t been productive in helping them overcome their fears and depression.  With EMDR we can identify and work toward changing limiting beliefs that keep you stuck.

“EMDR provides a way for people to free themselves from destructive memories, and it seems to work, even in cases where years of conventional therapy have failed.” - ABC News “20/20″

What is EMDR?

EMDR is a remarkably effective therapy approach used to overcome the emotionally painful effects of trauma and a wide range of other emotional conditions. EMDR integrates many of the successful elements of a range of therapeutic approaches that helps people to make lasting changes to overcome the impact of trauma. It has been extensively researched, and in 2004 the Dept. of Veteran’s Affairs and Department of Defense determined that it was an effective treatment for trauma.
